Mary C. Hertel
A former Roman Catholic Nun

“Many Catholic teachings remain out of view for the average church-goer and mass-attendee. The Catholic Undertow uncovers and documents a great deal of this information, and presents it in easy-to-understand language.”

Jeff Lawlor
An Evangelical who married a Catholic

“Mary Ann’s hard work and research helped to clear my mind… I thank her for being faithful to her calling. Her commitment has helped the healing of my soul.”

Esther Ruth
A former Catholic

“As a former Catholic, as well as a former member of a religious order, I have a great love for all those sincere and gentle people who, with great faithfulness, have been ardent lovers of the Catholic Church. I am so sorry to have to say that no institution or tradition can replace the truth of the words of our Risen Savior. Each of us has the responsibility to seek His truth, lest we drift away because of our own carelessness.”

Margaret K. Ward
A former Roman Catholic Nun

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Mary Ann Collins entered the convent because she wanted to be close to God. She gradually realized that some Catholic doctrines are contrary to Scripture. She left the convent and became a Protestant Christian, and she finally found the relationship with God that she had been seeking all along.
